Event Review :Constellations & Cicidas Sixi Museum & whyicry Summer Concert
On the evening of July 11, during the interim between the exhibition recess of Seeds Out of Line and the opening of the new exhibition, SIXI Museum collaborated with the band whyicry at the Guo Chuang Park Industrial Square. Interweaving the chirping of cicadas with instrumental acoustics into a summer night's melody.
This represents another endeavor by SIXI Museum beyond the white walls: venturing deep into public space, entering the threshold between the streets and our breath. By reaching the audience's through a more direct auditory experience, the performance allowed music to serve as a medium connecting the physical body with the surrounding world.
As the new exhibition approaches, the sounds of this moment perhaps serve as a sign leading toward contemplations of the body, nature, and the cosmos. We look forward to the official opening of the new exhibition, where we will continue to explore diverse expressions of coexistence between humanity and the world through art and a broader range of public educational programs.
