Right beside Sophie von Hellermann’s work — a work inspired by this very moment of introspection — the Card Healing Exploration Workshop unfolded. All the participants turned their gaze inward to revisit their life journeys, seeking the overlooked "untold half" within themselves.
In the safe and accepting space crafted by Teacher Ailin, each participant drew a card one by one. The tangible images on the cards acted like keys, unlocking the doors to their memories. Those bright moments buried under the hardships of life were reawakened, merging with our present vulnerabilities and struggles to form the wholeness and true depth of life.
After integrating their emotions, Teacher Ailin guided everyone through a quiet meditation by using key words. Participants visualized their selves after the "second birth of life" and explored their path forward: it meant courageously setting boundaries when one’s own well-being are nurtured before embracing intimate relationships. It also meant facing childhood traumas head-on, no longer treating hurt as something unspoken.
The adventures and resilience discovered in revisiting one’s life story are precisely the greatest strength to transform current difficulties into opportunities, and to move forward steadily on the journey of the "second life."
